Unforgettable experiences in NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA
Covering such a huge area, a trip to North America can, at times, feel like you are on the edge of the world. This feeling applies for those stood at impressive viewpoints like Vancouver Island and Lake Moraine in Canada, and the Grand Canyon in the USA. For those looking for a unique experience, Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer is a luxury train journey going through the breath-taking High Rockies.
With such diversity in its landscape and experiences offered, North America is a good option for those looking for adventure and undisturbed picturesque panoramas. In each issue of Unforgettable Travel Experiences, we strive to include some of North America’s most epic adventures – from kayaking on the Yukon River to hot air ballooning over Monument Valley.
We are also excited to introduce a collection of incredible experiences in South America. In this issue, we feature Peru, Chile, and Ecuador including the Galapagos Islands. One theme that features heavily in South America is active and history. Hiking the iconic Machu Picchu ticks both boxes. It’s one of the world’s most impressive ruins, set high atop the Andes, but it’s really just a flash in the 5,000+ years of settlement in the country. Visitors can discover the remnants of the largest pre-Columbian ruins in the Americas, Chan Chan, soar over the mysterious geoglyphs etched into the dry earth at Nazca, or journey into the rugged wilderness that surrounds the fortress of Kuélap.
