Beautiful Ogre’s a little on shy side
OGRE IS a beautiful young lady who has grown up in RSPCA Middlesex North West Branch care having come to us at eight weeks old.
She was born in a garage and she had little human contact prior to coming into our care so as you can imagine she was terrified of people.
Ogre is now 18 months old and while she is living with a really loving foster family we are desperate to find Ogre her home for life.
This is what Ogre’s foster carers have to say about her.
“The children have renamed her Olga. She is still a little timid but she likes cuddles and chin tickles, but on her own terms.
“Usually when she has had a hard day playing in the garden she will happily have all the cuddles you can give. She is a greedy thing. She loves treats.
“She is also full of energy and will play with string and hunt fallen leaves. She has a particular fondness for pens. She takes them from the pen pot and plays with them.
“She is getting on very well with my cats Bill, Arnold and Lara. She also copes quite well with a house of excited children.
“She doesn’t always want to be cuddled and held and will simply want to jump down. She is never aggressive though. She does not scratch or bite. She really is very sweet.
“She has such a cheeky face and has the habit of peeking at you from under a table or from around the corner, or maybe over the top of the table when she is sitting on a chair, as if to say ‘any of that for me?’
“Please adopt her. She’s lovely.”
Thanks to the time and love given by her foster mum and family, as well as Bill the cat, she has blossomed into an adorable little lady. She is a playful cat who is lively and inquisitive, friendly and a little independent.
It is likely that when Ogre first comes to a new home she will be very timid and likely to hide away. It may just take her a bit longer than most to get settled into a loving home environment, but once she finds her feet she will be tearing about as if she has been there forever.
Ogre is best suited to adult owners or those with teenage children who are confident around cats.
She must have a garden to enjoy and ideally she will have a feline companion to share her life with. She just adores other cats and became strong friends with her foster mum’s other cats.
The Christmas present we would all like to give Ogre (Olga) is a home to call her own.
