SAVANNAH Charles led the way as Denham Ladies U12s got back to winning ways on Saturday.

Charles’ well taken opener was the first of a hat-trick for the youngster in the 6-2 win over Islington Borough – the perfect antidote to last week’s defeat to St Josephs.

Maddie Kirkby weighed in with a brace with Abboe Barrett also on the score-sheet, while Tara Jhawer was named player of the match.

The club’s U14s went one better, thrashing Hoddesdon Owls 7-1 at the Den.

Amy Holdcroft and Naomi Hickey each scored twice, with Alisha Bajwa, Niamh Reynolds and an own goal completing the scoring.

Nicole Leys took player of the match for an excellent showing on the right wing.

The U13s tinkered with their team, playing a number of the girls in unfamiliar roles against Welwyn Garden City, but it did not stop them easing to a 4-0 win.

The goals were shared around with Kaitlin Brown, Katie Gavin, Mayze O’Mahoney and Sophie Reardon all bagging one apiece.

Gavin shared the player of the match honours with Holly Parish.

And the U10s completed a clean sweep of victories, coming from behind to beat Tottenham and avenge last week’s loss in the reverse fixture.

The first XI’s game was postponed, while the U15s had no game this week.

The U10s played host to Tottenham at the Den following last week’s narrow defeat against them at their ground. The Denham girls won comfortably.

After starting the game well, the girls found themselves 1-0 down but they kept their heads up and battled back into the game.

The girls fought back to score enough goals to win the match comfortably.

Elsewhere, sensational solo performance from Rayyan Murray helped the West Drayton Explorers U11s Reds in their 14-0 victory over Windsor Rockets.

Murray scored five goals for the Reds, with Samuel Spasov scoring four and Kian Edwards, Aiden Edwards, Jordan Kandanda and Bobby Hart all with a goal each. Josh Odell was the man of the match.

The U11 Blues also came up with a win, beating Concorde 4-2. George Rowlands was the standout player, scoring twice in the victory, with Mohamed Bah and William Dunster also scoring for the Blues.

There was a similar result for the U7 Reds, as they beat Burnham Whites 9-1. The player of the game, Aleks Kovalenko, scored two of the nine goals.

Further braces from Sean Sheehan and Oderio Brand and a goal apiece for Cairo Jones, Harry Macfayden and Rounak Boagle capped off an emphatic win for the U7s Reds.

West Drayton Explorers U10s added to the list of impressive wins, recording a 10-0 triumph against Cippenham FC, with hattricks from Reece Butler and Godwin Usifo. The other goals came from Ranvier Jamgotre, Hayden O’Toole, Louis Bunn and Jake Pickett.

There was also a win for the U15s side, beating Burnham 6-1. Charlie Rogers was the hat-trick hero, which was followed up by two goals from the man of the match Zak Gee and one by Zubair Nassari.

Elsewhere, the U12s secured a great 5-1 win over FC Cippenham, with Amari Adams stealing the show with four goals. Jayden Blackwood got the other goal for the U12s.

A hat-trick from David Galjak was not enough to make him the man of the match, but it helped the U14s to a 4-2 win over Burnham Yellows. Brendan Pritchard scored the other goal, while Bradley Wicks was the star man in the victory.

The U7s Blues, however, lost 7-0 to Windsor Merlin Reds. Things did not improve for the U8 Reds as they lost heavily to Chalfont, Iggy Mieslicki the sole goal scorer in a 17-1 defeat.

There were mixed results for the West Drayton Explorers U9s, as the U9 Reds were involved in a 4-4 thriller with Delaford Colts, including a double from Joe Rossiter and goals for Ethan Cupido and Charlie Penil. Jamie McCarthy was the man of the match in that game.

The U9 Blues were then involved in a dramatic game themselves, narrowly losing 4-3 to Harefield United, the goalscorers being Callum Hayworth-Sharpe, Bertie Rodriguez-Owens and Christopher Burton.

Unfortunately for the U9 Purples, their game was not as close, losing 5-1 to Tom Taplow United Youth. Nico Martucci with the consolation goal for the Purples.
