ECLAIR’S TASTY NEW PODCAST

FUNNYWOMAN Jenny Eclair, above, and Grumpy Old Woman author and producer Judith Holder have launched their new “full-fat, batteries included” podcast called Older and Wider.

They say the weekly podcast is for people who don’t really know what a podcast is and it is available on iTunes and SoundCloud. Jenny says: “Expect ‘twinge of the day,’ searing interviews with guests, including questions such as ‘how many pairs of trousers do you own?’”

SOAP STAR TO TREAD THE BOARDS

EASTENDER Lorna Fitzgerald, below, best known for playing Abi Branning in the BBC soap, is to star opposite real-life husband and wife Maxwell Caulfield and Juliet Mills in a stage production of Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lady Vanishes.

The adaptation opens at Theatre Royal Windsor on January 9 before embarking on a nationwide tour.
