Seventh music heaven at Southlands

IF you are looking for a local place to spend a relaxing music filled afternoon this summer then you could do a lot worse than getting yourself down to Southlands Live Music Festival on Saturday July 20.

Set against the idyllic backdrop of fields and Edwardian gardens of Southlands Art Centre, The Green, West Drayton, the event is now in its seventh year and is showing only growth in popularity.

Starting at around 2pm and closing at 9.30pm, the day will not only provide great music, beers and burgers for the adults but also many stalls and kids’ entertainm­ent. A great day out for all the family.

Some of the 15 acts confirmed include Band Of King, Zara and Orders, as well as Queen guitarist Brian May’s new proteges King’s Daughters, fronted by X Factor’s favourite wild card Talia Dean.
