I have for the fifirst time seen a birth! One of the cows in Hayle’s Yard very graciously allowed me to see her son born.

Unfortunately nearly all bull calves are killed on the following Wednesday.

The work seems to be getting too heavy for me. I hate to say it, but I’m always short of that bit of extra energy needed. It’s not that I’m lazy, I just get fagged and I did think I was getting tough.”
