Excited was an understatement, when I found this unique footwear brand: introducing Sylth Virago. The brand offers statement shoes to die for without compromising on integrity, aesthetics or the health of our planet.

Maybe the ‘Persephone’ statement boots could be a Valentine’s treat to yourself or a surprise for your Valentine? They are designed in New York, crafted in Italy and made in 100 per cent breathable polyurethane faux leather and accented with a couture handmade embellishment. The boot sits on a 115mm heel outfitted with Sylth Virago’s curved rose gold logo cap. The insole is made from 100 per cent biodegradable fibreboard, whilst the sole is made from recycled and recyclable rubber, yet the finished product looks a million dollars.

I have a feeling this shoe brand will show the world’s leading non-ethical footwear labels how it’s done. Bold, daring and sexy are Sylth Virago designs but with absolutely no animals harmed; for sure, my kind of brand and one to watch closely.
