PEMBROKESHIRE
A MAGNIFICENT 83 from Tom Davies led Carew to victory over visitors St Ishmaels by 119 runs in the Pembrokeshire Cricket League.
Carew batted first and made a total of 193 thanks to Davies with Andrew Pawlett taking 4-49 and Andrew Palmer 4-55.
St Ishmaels were then bowled out for just 74 in reply, Jon Pawlett top scoring with 38 as the impressive Davies took 5-29 with the ball.
Cresselly were also big winners as they beat Pembroke by 188 runs. Cresselly were first to occupy the crease and made 257-6 with Iwan Izzard hitting a superb 91 before Pembroke were bowled out for just 69, Simon Cole taking 4-6.
Haverfordwest had a fruitful trip to Lawrenny as they came away with a 7 wicket victory.
Lawrenny batted first and were bowled out for 146, Johnny White taking 5-22 before Haverfordwest made 147-3 in reply, Simon Holliday making an unbeaten 60 and Ben Field 49.
Whitland defeated visitors Kilgetty by 113 runs after batting first and posting a total of 185, Scott Newton making 63 and Johnny Thomas 57 with Jack Parkinson taking 5-27 and Anthony Bevan 3-33.
Kilgetty were then dismissed for just 72, Iestyn Scourfield taking 4-19, Matthew Davies 3-19 and Ben Harvey 3-26.
Johnston made 188-8 during their stay at the crease at home to Neyland, Dan Sutton scoring a magnificent unbeaten 110 and Lee Summons 38. Andrew Miller took 4-42. Neyland were then 103-4 after 21 overs when the rain came and caused play to be abandoned. Andrew Miller was 36 not out with Richard James taking 4-41.
