CWMBRAN Celtic moved to within two points of the sum­mit in Nathaniel Car Sales Welsh League Di­vi­sion One af­ter a 4-1 win over Ton Pen­tre.

Josh Bull, Tom O’Connor, Lewis Fee­ley and Owen Cook net­ted for Celtic with Alex Davies on the score­sheet for the vis­i­tors.

The sched­uled top-of-the-ta­ble show­down be­tween un­beaten lead­ers Peny­bont and Haver­ford­west County was one of four Di­vi­sion One matches post­poned due to the weather.

Cam­brian & Cly­dach were 1-0 home win­ners over Goytre United thanks to Dave Thomas’ 25th minute penalty – re­demp­tion for Thomas who had also missed a penalty only a few min­utes ear­lier.

Undy Ath­letic were 2-1 home win­ners over Gwent side Goytre thanks to goals from Gareth Cul­limore and Alex Jarman.

Afan Lido won by the same score­line at Port Tal­bot Town with Sacha Wal­ters and Liam McCreesh on the score­sheet. Dy­lan Thomas was the Steel­men’s scorer.

In Di­vi­sion Two, a brace from Gavin Withers along with goals from Ben Smith and Connor Hughes fired Caldicot Town to a 4-1 win at Gar­den Vil­lage – for whom Scott Smith net­ted.

There was a thriller at Mon­mouth who drew 3-3 with Swansea Univer­sity. Leo Ross net­ted a hat-trick for Mon­mouth while Nick Hy­den, Zack Knud­son and Jack How­ell grabbed the goals for the vis­i­tors.

Aber­gavenny Town were 3-0 win­ners over Di­nas Powys thanks to ef­forts from Cur­tis Methven, Aaron Nor­man and Sean Fee­ley.

In Di­vi­sion Three, two goals from Tom Tweedy and an­other from James Gronow set high-fly­ers Pon­ty­clun on their way to a 3-0 win over Tre­owen Stars.
