TYRONE GIBSON The 41-year-old from Clarence Place, Newport, admitted assaulting three emergency workers. He also admitted theft, criminal damage and racially aggravated public disorder. He was jailed for nine months and ordered to pay a £140 victim surcharge. LIAM ROSNEY Was sent to prison for fatally running over Olympic cyclist Chris Boardman’s mother when she fell off her bicycle. The 33-year-old was jailed for 30 weeks at Mold Crown Court for causing the death by careless driving of Carol Boardman, 75, near a minirounda­bout at Connah’s Quay. KEVIN EDWARDS Edwards, 25, from Derwendeg Avenue in Cefn Hengoed, admitted threatenin­g a man with a knife. He was jailed for 12 months. ROBERT PARKER The trusted employee pocketed more than £300,000 from the estate agent he worked for and used it to fund his gambling addiction. Parker, of Pyke Street, Barry, was jailed for three years and two months by Cardiff Crown Court. DANIEL ROGERS, MARK ION, AND STEVEN MCHUGH The three smashed their way into a supermarke­t at Llandysul, Carmarthen­shire, using a stolen 4x4 and helped themselves to bottles of whisky. Inside the vehicle were Daniel Rogers, aged 32, Mark Ion, 47, and 42-year-old Steven McHugh. Each admitted burglary and were each sentenced to 27 months in prison. DANIEL REES Rees, of Penybryn, Ystradgynl­ais, admitted causing serious injury while driving as a disqualifi­ed driver, failing to stop after an accident, and driving with no insurance. He was sentenced to six months in prison for the causing serious injury, and banned from driving for three years. DEAN DAVIES AND CHRISTOPHE­R SMAIL Smail rented a car to get to work in Bristol but, rather than return it, he loaned the car to Davies. Davies, of Heol Las Close, Birchgrove, Swansea, admitted dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and failing to stop while Smail, of Trewen Road, Birchgrove, Swansea, admitted aggravated vehicle taking, and attempting to pervert the course of justice. Smail was jailed for a total of eight months; Davies for 14 months. JEROME WALLIS AND SAVION BROWNE The pair were locked up for their parts in a drugs gang that abducted a 16-year-old in London and shipped him to Swansea where he worked a number of “crack dens” in the city as part of a county lines drug operation.

Wallis, of Brandon Street, Southwark, London, admitted conspiracy to supply heroin, conspiracy to supply crack cocaine, and arranging or facilitati­ng the travel of a child with a view to him being exploited. Browne of Perry Hill, Lewisham, London, was convicted of conspiracy to supply heroin and conspiracy to supply crack cocaine. Wallis was sentenced to eight years, initially in a young offender institutio­n. Browne was sentenced to six years. JARED PERRY The dangerous paedophile who abused babies and young children walked into a police station and confessed his crimes. Swansea Crown Court heard Perry, 32, abused male and female children, some less than six months old. Perry, of Llanilar, Aberystwyt­h, admitted 10 counts of indecent assault and sexual assault on a child under 13. He was given a 17-year sentence and will be on the sex offenders’ register for the rest of his life. EDGAR THOMAS The former solicitor was jailed for six years for stealing almost £1 million from the families of deceased clients.

He charged hugely inflated fees to deal with issues following death – in one case charging 50 times the appropriat­e fee – and pocketed the cash from his business in Pembrokesh­ire. Thomas, 58, of Deerland Road, Llangwm, Haverfordw­est, was jailed for a total of six years. He admitted 23 counts of fraud by abuse of position and theft. RHYS HEARN The taxi driver used his cab to sell crack to customers and took cocaine to stay awake during long night shifts.

Hearn, of Fleet Street, Sandfields, Swansea, admitted being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, supplying crack, possession of crack with intent to supply, and possession of cocaine. He was jailed for three years. ETHAN KEATING The stalker was jailed for breaking a five-year restrainin­g order barring him from contacting his ex-partner.

Keating, 21, of Colwyn Bay, admitted two breaches of a restrainin­g order when he appeared at Mold crown court. He was jailed for three months. JAMES LONGDEN Bungling burglar James Longden, of Oaklea Court, Rhyl, was caught out after the victim recognised his belongings and placed a winning bid on his own watch on Ebay. He admitted stealing a laptop, jewellery and clothing from his neighbour’s home. He was sentenced to two years and four months in prison. ADAM LEWIS AND LEE JONES Lewis, 18, drove a stolen Jaguar, with 31-year-old Jones along for the ride. Lewis, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 12 months and banned from driving for two years after admitting aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving. Jones, of Meadway Close, Gwersyllt, Wrexham, was jailed for six months and banned from driving for 15 months after admitting aggravated vehicle taking. MATTHEW LOVE The “dangerous” offender was jailed for a sex attack on a woman walking alone on an industrial heritage trail.

Love, 27, stalked the woman on the Trevethick Trail near Merthyr Tydfil. He was later identified from CCTV in Merthyr Tydfil town centre. Love, of Pontlottyn, admitted sexual assault and was jailed for two years and eight months. PETER ROBERTS AND TONY JONES The pair scammed an elderly couple out of more than £16,000 for gardening and maintenanc­e work worth just £1,200. Jones, formerly of Briton Ferry but now of Kingsmoor Common, Kilgetty, Pembrokesh­ire, and Roberts, also formerly of Briton Ferry but now of Lotwen Road, Capel Hendre, Ammanford, admitted fraud by false representa­tion. Roberts was jailed for 12 months and Jones for nine months. LLOYD WILLIAMS Williams left his wife covered in blood after he shot her with an airgun then smashed a bottle of Baileys through a car window. Williams, 35, from Summerhill Avenue, Newport, was jailed for two years and six months after admitting unlawful wounding and criminal damage. NADIA PLESUVU Plesuvu was a madam running a busy brothel in Cardiff which turned over more than £100,000 in nine months before the premises were raided by the police. Plesuvu, 37, admitted managing a brothel on the basis there was no coercion. The mum-of-three, of Richmond Road, was jailed for 18 months. MARC MORGAN Morgan was on the run from police when he went on a month-long burglary spree. Morgan, of Heol Gwyrosydd, Penlan, Swansea, admitted four counts of burglary. He was sentenced to a total of 16 months in prison to run concurrent­ly with three years that he is currently serving. ROBERT BROCKWAY He stole a car when he realised he didn’t have transport back to Cardiff.

The 32-year-old broke into a woman’s home and took the keys. But he crashed the stolen Audi A4 in Ely, Cardiff, as he drove home from Tonyrefail.

Brockway, of Holmesdale Street, Grangetown, Cardiff, admitted burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, and driving while disqualifi­ed and without insurance. He was jailed for two years. RHYS SHEARAN Shearan – also known as Rhys Buckley – led police on a seven-mile high speed chase which saw him reach 70mph in a 20mph zone and go through red lights. Shearan, of High Street, Gorseinon, admitted dangerous driving, driving while disqualifi­ed and driving without insurance. The 21-year-old was jailed for a year and his licence was endorsed with eight penalty points. He was disqualifi­ed from driving for three and a half years and must take an extended re-test before he can drive again. KENNY PETERS AND RYAN MORGAN The pair were caught by police who were keeping watch on a stolen £19,000 BMW 320 that had been taken during a burglary in Baglan. Peters, 38, of Heol Awstin, Ravenhill, Swansea, and 26-year-old Morgan, of Clywd Road, Penlan, Swansea, each admitted handling stolen goods when they appeared for sentencing. Peters had also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence or insurance. Peters was sentenced to two years in prison, and Morgan to 26 months. Morgan’s licence was endorsed with nine points. CONSTANTIN MUNTEANU The conman took a day trip to Wales from his home in Birmingham and made more than £800 with his “sleight of hand” skills. The offences took place in June 2013 but Munteanu subsequent­ly went on the run. The 30-yearold was eventually picked up when he flew back to the UK last year, and was jailed for two years and three months. LUKE MILLER Was jailed after he was caught carrying a knife and a stun gun at Cardiff’s Red Dragon Centre. Miller, 21, of Ty Iolo, Barry, was jailed for a total of 20 months after admitting possession of a bladed article and a stun gun. LUKE DAVIES The “significan­t” drug dealer was caught with £1,000 in his pockets. The 24-year-old was caught with cash and cannabis when police carried out a warrant at his home in Third Avenue, Galon Uchaf, Merthyr Tydfil, in April last year. He was convicted of possessing cannabis with intent to supply, driving while disqualifi­ed, and breaching his suspended sentence after a trial at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court and has
