LEADERS Airbus UK Broughton had to settle for a point after Robbie James snatched a 1-1 draw for Guilsfield with a 90th minute leveller.

The Wingmakers had led from the 14th minute onwards through Lewis Buckley but the two dropped points allowed Flint Town United to close to within seven points after they beat Rhyl 2-0.

Ieuan Hewitt opened the scoring for Flint on 62 minutes with Richie Foulkes doubling their lead from the penalty spot five minutes later.

Bangor City, in third, are nine points off the summit with a game a game in hand. The Citizens were 1-0 winners at Conwy Borough with Sam Jones grabbing the allimporta­nt goal on 67 minutes.

Elsewhere, Dave Hayes scored in added time to secure a 2-1 home win for Prestatyn Town over Denbigh Town.

Jack Higgins’ first half opener for Prestatyn had earlier been cancelled out by Pat Hinchcliff­e six minutes from time.

Goals in each half from Sion Edwards and Iwan Lewis guided Porthmadog to a 2-0 home win over bottom side Holyhead Hotspur, while Luke Blizzard’s goal six minutes into the second half earned Buckley Town a 1-0 win at Ruthin.

Second half goals from Joe Vaughan and Kyham Whytton saw Llanrhaead­r come from behind to win 2-1 against Penrhyncoc­h – who had led through Stef Davies on 17 minutes.

Meanwhile the game between Gresford Athletic and Holywell Town ended 1-1.

Steve Lewis put Holywell ahead from the penalty spot on 79 minutes but that was cancelled out by Simon Smith two minutes from time.
