FINDING ALICE Tonight, ITV, 9pm

THE likeable comedy drama concludes with Alice (Keeley Hawes) determined to develop Harry’s land before trying for his baby. But she has to solve her growing list of problems first.

When her parents’ marriage falls to pieces, Roger becomes Alice’s latest uninvited lodger, and tension between Alice and her 16-year-old daughter Charlotte reaches breaking point. Will a family celebratio­n do the trick and bring everyone back together?

JAMIE: KEEP COOKING FAMILY FAVOURITES

Tomorrow, Channel 4, 8.30pm

CHEF Jamie Oliver is back with a new series, taking some familiar ingredient­s and finding new ways to use them.

He begins by reinventin­g the roast chicken by combining it with the flavours of another family favourite – the margherita pizza.

He does this by cooking it over a juicy bed of ripe tomatoes, sprinkling it with basil, and serving with giant mozzarella-stuffed gnocchi for a summery dish.

There’s also a recipe for turning takeaway favourite prawn toast into a toastie that’s perfect for sharing, served with sweet chilli sauce and a quick cucumber pickle.

BLITZ SPIRIT WITH LUCY WORSLEY Tuesday, BBC1, 8.30pm

BRITAIN likes to pride itself on its ‘Blitz spirit’ and, in this documentar­y, historian Lucy Worsley finds out what it was really like to experience that terrifying period of history, using accounts from six people who lived, worked and volunteere­d during the Blitz.

Between September 7, 1940 and May 11, 1941, German planes dropped 32,000 tonnes of bombs on British cities, claiming the lives of 44,652 people.

Lucy explores the suffering ordinary people endured as well as their remarkable resilience in the face of such horrors.

IT’S been a compelling second series for the crime drama, Morven

Christie’s disgraced DC Lisa Armstrong having to battle to change her image after that footage of her in an alley with the prime suspect of the last case and allegation­s of hiding evidence.

HAS she done enough, as we come to the final episode?

Closing the case of the businessma­n shot dead at a family barbecue would help.

A confession allows Lisa to identify a suspect. But surely

one more twist remains...

HOW TO KEEP A HEALTHY WEIGHT WITH MICHAEL MOSLEY

Thursday, Channel 4, 8pm IT’S hard to deny that the lockdowns of the past year have not

been conducive to maintainin­g a svelte figure.

For those who wish to shed a few pounds (and keep them off) Dr Michael Mosley is worth listening to.

Here he reunites five volunteers who he helped ‘Lose a Stone in 21 Days’, offering further advice and busting a few myths.

GRAYSON’S ART CLUB Friday, Channel 4, 8pm

GRAYSON PERRY’S first Art Club series was one of the big hits of Lockdown 1, helping to foster that feeling of togetherne­ss and community and urging us to get creative.

Now he’s back with more masterclas­ses, hints and tips and amazing creative guests.

In this first episode, he’s joined by Boy George, who creates an artwork inspired by this week’s theme: Family.

Photograph­er David Bailey discusses his other passion – painting – while designer Yinka Illori demonstrat­es how his work fuses stories from his British and Nigerian heritage and Harry Hill makes an appearance.

BILLY CONNOLLY: MADE IN SCOTLAND Saturday, BBC2, 9pm

THIS two-part documentar­y – broadcast back-to-back – follows the comedian, actor and musician as he returns to the country of his birth. Billy reveals the influences and motivation­s that helped him go from being a welder in Glasgow to become ‘The Big Yin’.

There are archive clips as well as interviews with the man himself, plus contributi­ons from famous fans including singer/songwriter Eddi Reader, author Val McDermid, comedian Eddie Izzard and actress Tracey Ullman.
