TWO DAUGHTERS

Tonight, BBC2, 9pm

On June 6, 2020, sisters Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman were reported missing after they failed to return home following Bibaa’s birthday celebrations. The next day, Nicole’s boyfriend found their bodies.

The family’s distress would then be compounded when it later emerged that police officers at the crime scene took selfies with the women’s bodies. Now in this documentary, Stacey Dooley helps their mother, Mina Smallman, to tell her story and follows the trials of her daughters’ killer and the two Met officers who shared photos of them.

BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT Tomorrow, ITV, 8pm

We love the auditions – they’re often the best part of the entire series, thanks to the occasionally weird but wonderful wannabes – but they don’t half go on a bit.

Thankfully the last of them has now taken place and we’re embarking on the semi-final stage.

Expect tears galore – of both the disappointment and joy variety – as those who made it this far try to impress the voters at home in the hope of bagging a place in the grand final.

As ever, Ant and Dec are on hosting duties.

THE YORKSHIRE VET Tuesday, Channel 5, 8pm

Every now and again, vets get to witness miracles, and it seems we’re in for one this week.

It begins when Matt gets an urgent call from a 16-year-old farmer who’s worried about a pregnant ewe that’s been struggling to give birth. Matt shares the teenager’s concerns and fears the lambs won’t make it, but the situation takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Peter prepares to operate on a Labrador, and bird lovers Tricia and Ana talk to Julien about whether it’s worth putting their parakeet Mango through the risks of surgery.

THE REPAIR SHOP JUBILEE SPECIAL

Wednesday, BBC1, 8pm

Jay Blades and the team of experts throw open the doors of their workshop-in-a-barn for a very special edition.

Jay is determined to get us in the mood for the jubilee weekend by breathing new life into damaged or well-worn items with links to the monarchy.

First up is a pearly king suit which a beloved grandfather never got to complete for his grandson, but which Julie Tatchell and Amanda Middleditch are keen to get their hands on.

BIG BOYS

Thursday, Channel 4, 10pm

Jack Rooke’s autobiographical comedy about two mismatched boys

who become best mates when they’re thrown together at uni continues.

It’s Christmas, and the first years are encouraged to create work for Jules’s Sexual Health Awareness Week Showcase. However, the task makes Jack and Danny realise their own sexual shortcomings.

Then, in tonight’s second episode, a still-grieving Jack tries to channel the spirit of his muchadored father, and Corinne attempts to loosen up.

WOULD I LIE TO YOU? Friday, BBC1, 9pm

With each edition of this popular comedy panel show, there are plenty of other unseen bits, not originally broadcast.

The latest selection sees guests including, Alan Titchmarsh, Ardal O’Hanlon, Sarah Millican, Holly Willoughby, Suggs, Jim Broadbent and Gyles Brandreth. But, best of all, there is more comedy gold from everyone’s favourite WILTY guest Bob Mortimer.

PLATINUM PARTY AT THE PALACE Saturday, BBC1, 7.30pm

The Buckingham Palace concert features a glittering array of global stars and performers, including Queen + Adam Lambert, George Ezra, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Nile Rodgers, and Diana Ross, who celebrate 70 years of Her Majesty The Queen’s reign.
