■ Fancy adding a little something extra into your skin or hair care routine without spending a fortune?
Check out Holland & Barrett’s new brand Native State, pictured above, which has launched with a selection of face masks (£6) and products for tackling damaged or frizzy hair (£4.99), all made with plantbased active ingredients. ■ Maybelline’s fantastic Sky
High Cosmic Black has got a new sidekick. Lash Sensational Sky High Tinted Primer, £11.99, combines conditioning ingredients with a hint of black.
On its own it gives a natural tint, but if followed with Sky High mascara the result is 1.5 times the lift and volume you get using the mascara alone.
Like all the best supporting roles, it assists the lead character without stealing the show, yet still holds its own. ■ Actress Priyanka Chopra has worked with Max Factor to develop its new “universal colour” range, a capsule collection designed to be flattering on everyone.
There are nine Colour Elixir lipsticks, £8.99, and eight Miracle Pure nail polishes, £6.99, in shades specially picked to work on cool, warm and neutral complexions alike.
Then there’s the pièce de résistance, the Max Factor X Priyanka Masterpiece Eye Palette, £14.99. ■ Beauty brand Lush’s first venture into fitness sees it launch soothing Epsom salt bath cubes, £5 each, and three massage bars, £10 each, packed with magnesium, the mineral so many swear by for improving recovery and sleep. There’s Before, with extra caffeine to pep you up, After to unpick knotty muscles, and Deep Sleep to help you nod off.
