THERE were goals galore in the JD Cymru North yesterday, with Colwyn Bay and Llandudno chalking up 5-0 wins and Holywell Town and Guilsfield both winning 4-0.

Conwy Borough were Colwyn Bay’s victims, with Matthew Hill and Tom Creamer both grabbing a brace.

Llandudno thumped Buckley Town, with Sam Jones helping himself to two goals.

Holywell’s victory came against Cern Druids, while Guilsfield came away from Holyhead Hotspur with an impressive victory as Steven Blenkinsop bagged a brace.

Mold Alexandra and Porthmadog shared four goals in a 2-2 draw, while Prestatyn Town edged Gresford Athletic 1-0.

The odd ones out were Chirk and Penrhyncoc­h, who eked out a 0-0 stalemate at Holyhead Road.

On Friday night, there was a 2-0 home win for Ruthin Town over Llanidloes Town. Ilan Hughes broke the deadlock on 66 minutes before Josh Jones sealed the win with 11 minutes left on the clock.

In the Cymru South yesterday, there were impressive 3-0 away wins for second-placed Briton Ferry Llansawel at Pontardawe Town and for Taffs Well at Trefelin.

Cambrian & Clydach triumphed 4-2 at home to Goytre United and Ynyshir Albions were 1-0 winners at home to Ammanford while Llantwit Major drew 0-0 at home to Camarthen Town.

Swansea University and Abergavenn­y Town shared the points after a 1-1 draw at Swansea University Sports Centre on Friday night. Josh Cole gave the students the perfect start as he fired in the opener after just two minutes, but Owen Taylor earned a point for Abergavenn­y with his equaliser six minutes into the second half.

Abergavenn­y finished with 10 men after Rhys Thomas picked up a second yellow in stoppage time.
