How they rated
ANDY FISHER
Had nothing to do in the first-half as Swansea bossed possession. Contributed well when the hosts played out from the back and was assured when the visitors bombarded the Swansea box with long balls late on. Another clean sheet.
JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE
Solid defensively, with most of his work coming higher up the pitch. Decent delivery towards Matt Grimes and Liam Cullen early on but was always tidy in possession, a couple of moments in the second half aside.
BEN CABANGO
Received an early yellow card but was more than comfortable on the ball. Headed against the post in the first-half with what was his side’s clearest opening. Chipped in with a few timely clearances and was good in the air.
NATHAN WOOD
Carried the ball upfield well time and time again and won a couple of free-kicks as a result. Solid at the back too, making stacks of clearances to ease the load on Fisher.
MATT GRIMES (C)
Chipped in with a few tackles to ensure Andy Fisher was untested but couldn’t find that killer pass in the Huddersfield half. Grew in the second half though and helped to pull the strings from the middle.
OLIVIER NTCHAM
A couple of decent flashes and drilled over at the end of the opening half having picked up a knock. Replaced by Ollie Cooper at the break.
JAY FULTON
Booked early on but was decent enough on the ball and put in a few crosses. Solid. Subbed.
JAMIE PATERSON
A quiet first half from Paterson following his impressive showing at Wigan Athletic. Made a few useful tackles and was more lively in the early stages of the second half as Swansea pushed. Withdrawn.
LIAM CULLEN
Had no time to react to Cabango’s header which struck the post, with Cullen heading the rebound over from close range. Quiet other than that in truth. Withdrawn.
JOEL PIROE
Didn’t get a sniff in front of goal in the first-half and regularly dropped deep to have an influence on proceedings. Link-up play was good in the second half though, as evidenced with the chance he created for Morgan Whittaker. Subbed late on.
