TWO £10,000 rewards are being offered for information which will help find two men wanted on suspicion of murdering a father of seven in Cardiff.

Police have launched a fresh appeal to find James “Jimmy” O’Driscoll, 26, and Corey Gauci, 18, following the death of Colin Richards earlier this month.

Mr Richards died after emergency services were called following a report of a disturbance in the Heol-YBerllan and Heol Trelai area of Caerau shortly before 11.30pm on Sunday, April 7. The 48-year-old, who was from Grangetown, died from a fatal stab wound.

His family continue to be supported and updated by speciallytrained family liaison officers, South Wales Police said. His loved ones previously paid tribute to him as a “much-loved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and an all-round family man”.

A 33-year-old man previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender is on police bail.

Meanwhile three women, two aged 43 and one aged 28, who were arrested on suspicion of murder have been released under investigation.

Inquiries are continuing both at national and local level to find the two suspects as well as anyone who might be helping them, police say.

The force has warned anyone who sees either of them not to approach them but to contact police with any information on their whereabouts. Crimestoppers is offering two £10,000 rewards for information given exclusively to the charity that leads to their arrests.

Detective superintendent Darren

In the last three weeks loyalties and allegiances may have changed and we would remind anyone with information that two £10,000 rewards are on offer for information given exclusively to the charity Crimestoppers that leads to the arrest of Jimmy O’Driscoll and Corey Gauci.”
