Storm since winning Love Island ON AMBER

“My plan is to take some time to travel parts of the world I’ve never been to before and just take four or five months for me,” she said.

“I’m a workaholic, I absolutely love it and sometimes people have to tell me to slow down, but at this moment in my life, it’s actually me who’s making the decision to think I need to prioritise myself a little bit.

“I’m turning 30 in a couple of years, there’ll be no doubt a ring and babies, so the opportunity to travel will be soon. But watch and in a few months we’ll be talking about a new job. I’m not much of a planner, I’m more a see how it goes, but that would be my plan.”

Amber also spoke about the possibility of returning to our television screens in the future after facing negativity from social media trolls during her time on Dancing On Ice.

The star pleaded with others to be kind on a number of occasions during her time on the show.

Reflecting on her experience, Amber said: “Now that I’m looking at it from a past perspective, I loved it, I really did. It was a once-in-alifetime opportunity, I made the most amazing friends.

“It was so hard, I actually didn’t know what I was signing up for but I wouldn’t have changed it for the world, it was crazy. When I was in it I felt like the negativity was drowning me a little bit, but now that I’m out of it I’ve kind of forgotten about it. When I think about it now, I actually don’t remember the negativity, which I’m glad about. It made me stronger and thicker-skinned.”

Amber admits the negativity hasn’t put her off a future in television, but it would have to be for the right role.

She said: “It depends on what TV you do, if you do a reality show you know what you’re signing yourself up for, you’re opening yourself up to that negativity, but because I hadn’t been on television for seven years, I didn’t know how much social media had altered.

“If you put yourself on the chopping board like that, people are going to go for you, I feel like if I was going to do another reality show it would have to be up my street. I’m too busy with theatre, the only other TV work I would absolutely do in a heartbeat is a drama, something that doesn’t open the door to constant... constructive criticism shall we say.”
