Wallpaper* Handmade On Tour 2017
Fresh from Salone del Mobile in Milan, Wallpaper’s Handmade exhibition has arrived in Singapore, thanks to a partnership with the Designsingapore Council (Dsg). A showcase of original, one-off pieces, commissioned by Wallpaper* and created by the world’s finest designers, architects, makers and manufacturers, the travelling exhibition includes Mathieu Lehanneur’s Pocket Ocean basin, Matteo Thun’s Immaculate Care case, Martin Brudnizki’s Causeway candleholder, Snøhetta’s Portal, Karen Chekerdjian’s Infinity table, and many more divine designs.
Dsg’s vision is for Singapore to be an innovation-driven economy and a loveable city through design by 2025. As the national agency that promotes design, its mission is to develop the design sector, help Singapore use design for innovation and growth, and make life better in this Unesco Creative City of Design. Dsg is a division of the Ministry of Communications and Information.
