Doherty photographed this month’s artists’ recipe, Georgie Hopton & Gary Hume’s pasta Liguria (page 130), his second shoot in the series, working with food stylist Michelle Gatton. ‘We work together a lot and get along very well in the world of food and friendship. These pics were fun because you’re doing something very specific, interpreting an artist’s work through food, but also trying to make a photo that feels like you,’ says Brooklyn-based Doherty.
