Founded in 2012 by Tosin Oshinowo, the Lagos-based CM Design Atelier takes a site-specific approach, while blending Oshinowo’s own experiences in Nigeria with her time in the UK and the Netherlands. ‘We create solutions that are challenging and culturally relevant to the identity of architecture in the context of Nigeria and West Africa,’ says Oshinowo, whose output ranges from private villas and offices to beach houses, such as the crisp white Fowóralé (pictured) in Lagos.
