A graduate of the 3D designer maker course, Akhtar experiments with ceramics to explore themes of modularity and craft, resulting in objects that combine a range of processes with a strong contemporary aesthetic. Featuring soft-edge ceramic modules connected by a brass cylinder, her ‘Module’ table lamp was created as part of the Design Creators initiative, in collaboration with Wedgwood.
