Featured last year in our directory of emerging photographers, Caranton initially studied architecture and worked as a set designer before finding herself behind the camera. This month, she turned her lens on some sparkling jewellery for us (page 070). ‘The idea was to explore the end of a dinner, when things are mixed on the table,’ explains the French creative. ‘Jewellery and precious stones can be really similar in terms of colorimetry, so they fit together.’
