EYES ON THE PRIZE

Woo-hoo, we know and you know that we’re the best travel magazine around but it’s always good to have it acknowledged by others. In March, Wanderlust picked up Travel Magazine of the Year in the inaugural Travmedia Awards.

Furthermore, Wanderlust co-founder Lyn Hughes was presented with an Outstanding Contribution award. Broadcaster John Humphrys described Lyn as a “much-loved industry character who has, as our judges put it ‘shaped the evolution of the independent travel publication’.” He went on to say she is “one of a kind” and, “her influence goes far beyond the magazine. She embodies the brand. She is a legend in travel.”
