NATIVE NARRATIVES
The world’s largest public collection of Inuit art is now on display in Canada. Three years in the making, Winnipeg Art Gallery’s extension, Qaumajuq, offers a remarkable insight into northern Canada’s Inuits. Its opening exhibition, Inua, exhibits the work of 90 Inuit artists, including a photograph of a seal skin spacesuit, the bones of polar bear paws arranged to resemble a fossil and a stone boat sculpture with a sail made from bone and sinew. You can tour the exhibition virtually. wag.ca
