St Austell Brewery and Rick Stein group strike beer deal

-

ST Austell Brewery has agreed a three-year deal to supply Rick Stein’s restaurants with beer.

The two Cornish-born businesses have worked together previously, with the Stein family running the Cornish Arms in St Merryn – a St Austell Breweryowned pub – for 15 years.

St Austell Brewery’s Korev lager is now on draught at eight of Stein’s 11 sites across the UK, including in Padstow, London and Winchester.

Bottled Tribute will also be available as well as Harbour Brewing beers Arctic Sky and Daymer Bay, both to be supplied on draught in six Stein’s sites. St Austell Brewery took a minority share in Harbour in 2022 in order to improve distribution of the company’s beers in the South West.

Lee Tinn-Stephens, the brewery’s sales development and export manager, said: “It’s fantastic to have solidified this Cornish-born partnership, which extends beyond the South West.

“It’s a hugely rewarding partnership that the whole team and I have been looking forward to. That’s because of what “It’s great to be associated the Steins represent in Cornwall with Stein’s and have our beers, and beyond, in terms of quality as well as Harbour beers, in food and establishments. their sites.”

Jack Stein, chef director for standing Cornish business. I’m the Rick Stein Group, said: “It’s looking forward to an ice-cold great to be working and forming pint of Korev or two in our restaurants closer ties with another long- this summer.”
