United in hunt for new kit sponsor

Blackburn United are looking for a new kit sponsor.

Gary Thom has signed a new contract at Linlithgow Rose. The 27-year-old former Stirling Albion defender joined the Prestonfield club last summer from East Fife.

The club have also signed ex-Livingston midfielder Joe Hammill from Bonnyrigg Rose where he worked with new Rose boss Davie McGlynn.

Also at the Super League side, long-serving midfielder Adam Nelson has been placed on the transfer list.

Blair Batchelor, who joined the Rose last summer from Camelon, is also available for transfer.

Bathgate Thistle’s home friendly on July 30 has been changed from Cupar Hearts to SPFL Premiership side Motherwell.

Broxburn Athletic will play a home friendly against Craigshill Amateurs on July 18. Following that, they play away games at Spartans (July 22), Blantyre Vics ( July 25), Pumpherston ( July 29) and Armadale (August 1).

The Badgers hav e confirmed their first new signing of the summer, with Kieran Anderson joining the Albyn Park side from Bo’ness United. The striker netted 13 goals last season.

James McAllister has left Harthill Royal. Former Newmains United manager Ian Rankin is set to take over at the South Division club.

Livingston United have confirmed four pre-season friendlies. They are at home to Falkirk Juniors ( July 18), Liverpool- based amateur side Kent Star ( July 25) and Forth (August 1). They finish their preparations for the new season away at Camelon on August 4.
