Cancer support available
A new service has opened in West Lothian for people who have been affected by cancer.
Macmillan @ Bathgate Partnership Centre Cancer Information and Support Service has launched in the town.
The new service i s open now for anyone touched by cancer at Bathgate Library, Bathgate Partnership Centre, South Bridge St.
The service is available every Mondays from 10am to 1pm and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm.
The service offers anyone affected by cancer access to information and support and welcomes visitors with a friendly smile and a listening ear.
You may have cancer yourself, be a relative, friend or carer of someone with cancer, or maybe you just want to find out more about cancer.
The centre offers a free and confidential drop in support service with ime to talk in a relaxed atmosphere.
It also provides help to access benefits and financial advice, access to counselling provided by Cancer Support Scotland
and links to other relevant local organisations.
Also provided at the information service will be leaflets and books on cancer topics and help to access quality access quality internet sites for cancer information and support.
