Parents are also invited to come along and ‘refresh’ themselves in the lounge bar. All proceeds in aid of the Children’s Gala Day. Congratulations to local golfer Jennifer Devlin on returning her first ever ace at the eighth hole on her home course Greenburn Golf Club. Children’s Galaday Crowning Ceremony will take place at the Partnership Centre at approx 11.45am Sat 11 June by Mrs Joan Naysmith Headteacher at Fallahill Primary School. Note Change of Venue. - Gala Day Sports will be held at Fauldhouse United football ground following the gala day street procession. Teas and coffee will also be on sale. Gala Day Special with DJ’s Jon Mancini & Derek Chadwick plus support in the Miners Welfare from 7-11pm. Tickets priced £10 are limited and can be purchased at the Miners Welfare. To avoid disappointment buy your ticket early. Sunlight Memories Cafe for all who enjoy reminiscing and sharing memories of ‘days gone by’. People with dementia and their careers are very welcome. Group meet in the Partnership Centre the last Thursday of every month from 1.30-3pm. Next meeting 30 June and new faces always welcome. Take a Break Craft Club meet in the Hub on Main Street every Wed from 1-3pm. Why not come along and enjoy a wee chat over tea/coffee whilst at the same time participate in a range of craft activities.
