World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

-

A West Lothian store is joining forces with a national charity to raise cash.

M&S Livingston and Macmillan Cancer Support are working together for the charity’s flagship fundraising event, World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

M&S Cafés nationwide will support the charity by hosting a coffee morning on Friday, September 30, in celebration of the popular initiative, and is calling on customers to join in and do their bit too. Additional fundraising activities will also take place in stores throughout the country across September.

Mark McCafferty, store manager at M&S Livingston, said: “Macmillan is a charity that’s close to the hearts of many of our customers and colleagues which is why we’re determined to make this year’s event our most successful yet. If you aren’t hosting your own coffee morning then we’d love to see you join us instore on September 30 to help us raise funds.”

Alix Wooding, of Macmillan Cancer Support, said: “We rely on the generosity of our supporters for more than 99 per cent of our income and coffee morning events, or popping into your local M&S store to support us, are great ways to have fun whilst raising vital funds to help people affected by cancer.”
