Two of the group’s four teams reached the finals with the Under 14 Intermediate team (Shockwave) achieving second place in their category and picking up Silver medals, narrowly missing out on top spot by a couple of points.

The Under 14 Novice team (Switched On) achieved fourth in the world in their category.

Dancers from more than 30 countries competed in this prestigious event including the USA, South Africa, Argentina, China, and Australia.

There were over 300 teams and upwards of 3000 dancers taking part in the three-day street dance competition.

Reiss Dunn their coach and choreographer said: “I am absolutely thrilled at the success of my teams over the years and yet again all four teams have shown that they can compete at the highest level. “All teams gave it their all last weekend, and I am so proud of each and every one of them.”

The dancers are all pupils from West Lothian Dance World and train weekly at the Pyramids in Bathgate and the Dardanelles studio in Whitburn. PulsationZ are made up of children from all over West Lothian with ages ranging from six to young adult.

PulsationZ are continually looking for ways to help fund their attendance at competitions.
