Singer brings show to Livingston

A country music star is set to bring her tour to Howden Park Centre in Livingston.

With five albums under her belt, multiple awards and her own Irish TV show, Lisa McHugh’s career is certainly blossoming.

Hailing from Glasgow and now residing in County Fermanagh in Ireland, she is winning the hearts of music fans everywhere.

Her most recent album‘Country’ reached number three on the Irish Charts and she was voted Female Artist of the Year at the inaugural RTÉ Irish Country Music Awards.

Her lively fun style of music is guaranteed to get everyone on their feet.

She will perform in West Lothian on Saturday, September 2, at 7.30pm.

Tickets priced £19.50 or £17.50 for concession­s are available from the box office on 01506 777666.

Howden Park Centre will also host a special artist talk and gallery tour event next month.

The event will see resident artist Matt Morris, talk about the current exhibition‘Silent life of Tools’- the quiet unsung heroes of human endeavour and evolution. Matt is currently a part-time lecturer at Gray’s School of Art. Primarily a painter, his current exhibition showcases, oil paintings, ceramic works and photograph­s of large scale sited installati­ons.

The event will take place on Thursday, July 6, from 7pm to 9pm. It is free but booking is essential.
