Athletic sign new faces
Broxburn Athletic have announced a string of new signings as they continue their preparations for the new season.
They had already announced the arrival of former Pumpherston striker Zander Murray and have added an experienced trio.
Chris Townsley and Jack Beesley have arrived from Lowland League side Spartans while former Edinburgh City defender Gordon Donaldson has taken the step down from League Two and penned a contract with the Albyn Park side for next season.
Broxburn are due to play Spartans in their opening pre-season friendly away from home on July 15.
The Superleague side have announced that Michael Browne, Scott McNaughton and Marcus Millar have departed the club.
They join defender Darren Cole in leaving the club, with the ex-Rangers man having signed a deal with League of Ireland outfit Derry City.
Linlithgow Rose have added to their strike force with the arrival of former Queen’s Park and Cumnock striker Aiden Malone.
That takes Mark Bradley’s squad up to 16 players, with the manager keen to add more faces before the begin their pre-season schedule.
Pumpherston, who have signed former Livingston midfielder Jack Beaumont, got their pre-season underway on Tuesday night with a 2-0 victory against Edinburgh South Vics.
