Routes offer a walk on the mild side

A series of walks are set to take place across West Lothian, starting on Monday (July 31), with the first taking place when a group heads to Little Boghead, leaving Bathgate Partnershi­p Centre at 10.15am.

Next up, on Tuesday, August 1, there is a walk to Dedridge Pond leaving The Mall, Craigshill, at 10am. At the same time, a walk along the cycle path west leaves from Armadale railway station. A mystery walk leaves from Knightsrid­ge Community Garden at 11.30am.

On Wednesday, August 2, there is a choice of walks – along the canal east, leaving from Tesco, Linlithgow, at 10am; a walk along the canal to Winchburgh sets off from Strathbroc­k Partnershi­p Centre at 10am. A mystery walk leaves from the Livingston Inn car park at 7pm. On Monday, August 7, a walk to Morrison’s leaves from the former library, Hopetoun Street, Bathgate, at 10.15am.

On Tuesday, August 8, a Mid Calder river walk leaves from Livingston Rugby Club, Craigshill, at 10am. At the same time, a walk along the cycle path leaves from Armadale railway station. A mystery walk leaves from Knightsrid­ge Community Garden at 11.30am.

On Wednesday, August 9, a choice of walks, along the canal west leaves from Tesco, Linlithgow, at 10am. A walk to Middleton Care home sets off from Strathbroc­k Partnershi­p Centre at 10am.
