Thieves have stolen my WHOLE garden

- Courier reporter

A mum has told how she woke up to find brazen thieves had stolen her garden.

Sue Scorer (30), from Livingston, had all her artificial grass taken as she slept on Saturday, May 5.

And the shameless thieves even moved an eight-foot trampoline to swipe the grass.

She said her two boys Aaron (8) and Charlie (4) have been left devastated by the theft.

Sue said:“I woke on Sunday morning and was washing my hands when I looked out my window and saw the trampoline on the other side of the garden.

“I opened the window to see what was going on and saw all the grass was gone.

“I thought I was dreaming, I couldn’t believe it.”

Sue, a Slimming World consultant, has lived in the house for six years and had the turf put down in her front and back garden almost four year ago - at a cost of £3000 - so her sons could play football without getting dirty.

She added:“The kids are upset. My eight-yearold is always outside playing football.”

Sue added a neighbour was also robbed of their artificial grass on the same night, saying:“My neighbour caught it all on CCTV.”

She had put a post on Facebook and since then a kind-hearted landscaper has offered to replace Sue’s grass and fix her fence for free.

Police said they are investigating the incident.
