Host tea party for elderly

A group which helps bring cheer to older people is looking for more local volunteers.

Contact the Elderly recently launched its fourth West Lothian group in Armadale.

The first gathering of the Armadale group took place at the home of volunteer hosts Craig and Vanessa Campbell.

The group is still appealing for more guests and volunteer drivers. Guests are collected by a driver who accompanies them to a tea party in a host’s home. Hosts welcome groups of between six and 10 people once or twice a year.
