East Calder Community Resources Associatio­n are holding their Annual General Meeting in East Calder Partnershi­p Centre on Tuesday May 29 at 7pm. All interested parties are welcome. Refreshmen­ts will be served.

Lunch club The Lunch Club held in East Calder Church Hall is open on the first and third Thursday of each month, from 11.30-12.30pm. Please come along and try the excellent choice of tasty soups and tempting sweets. We extend a warm welcome to all our customers, old and new and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Pilates welcome new members and beginners. The class is held every Thursday during term time from 9.30-10.30am in East Calder Community Centre. Just come along.

Old Folks Club meet in the Community Centre on the last Thursday of the month from September to April from 1.30-3.30pm. Pensioners and non pensioners welcome.

Forget Me Not Cafe which is held in the Church hall is open the last Thursday of the month from 10-12 noon. It’s a meeting place for people with dementia and their carers of all ages. Drop in and join us for informatio­n, support and social activities. Supported by Alzheimer Scotland and East Calder Church. Contact 01506 533116.

Youth Club meet in the community centre on Fridays from 6.15-8.45pm for ages 10 to 14 years. Activities include cooking, football, baseball, and other outdoor sports, pool, video games, board games, arts and crafts. Contact Gary Sneddon on 01506 774473.

Needlecraf­t Club We are a group of ladies who would like to invite you to our weekly Thursday meetings from 7-9.30pm in the Community Centre.
