ENDO WARRIERS

A West Lothian MSP is backing Endo Warriors West Lothian. The group was founded to support women who suffer from endometriosis, a chronic and incurable condition which affects one in 10 women. Candice McKenzie and Claire Beattie founded Endo Warriors West Lothian, having both suffered from this disease for over 20 years. Starting in October 2017, a monthly support group takes place in Livingston at St John’s Hospital, and has already grown from just a few women to nearly 70.

Angela Constance, MSP for Almond Valley said:“The founders of Endo Warriors West Lothian, Candice McKenzie and Claire Beattie, are passionate about raising public awareness about this debilitating disease and I was delighted to be able to meet with them. It is staggering to think that one in 10 women are affected by endometriosis, which has no cure, and I look forward to working with Endo Warriors to both raise awareness and improve support.”
