June Close juneclose@ymail.com The MOOD Project is holding it’s AGM in Stoneyburn Centre tomorrow (Friday) at 12 noon. All welcome. Greenburn Golf Club is holding a quiz night on Friday 25 May at 8 pm in aid of Fauldhouse Children’s Galaday. Teams of 4 people are invited to participat­e at a cost of £5 per team. A prize will be awarded to the winning team and they will also go forward to a grand final organised by the gala committee on Sunday 3 June at a venue still to be arranged. Come along for what promises to be a good night out whilst at the same time supporting your Children’s Galaday. West Lothian Financial Inclusion Network offer a Benefits Service in the Partnershi­p Centre Mon - Wed from 10-3 pm and on a Friday by appointmen­t only. Fauldhouse Playgroup ‘Summer Fayre’ on Saturday 27 May in the Partnershi­p Centre from 11-2 pm. Home Baking, Sweetie Shop, local Business Stalls and a raffle. Entry free and all welcome. Touched by Suicide Fundraisin­g Concert held recently in the Miners Welfare raised the excellent sum of £3500.00. Organisers Des Murphy, Jim Timmins and Francie Duffy take this opportunit­y to thank all who donated and attended the event. A big thanks also to all the entertaine­rs, The Miners Welfare and their staff for all their support. Over the 10 year period that this event has been held the fantastic sum of £54845,00 has been raised for this worthy cause. Thanks to all supporters and entertaine­rs over the years. Geds Total Toning Class for Women every Monday morning 9.30-10.30 am and every Tuesday night from 7-8 pm. Both classes are held in Eastfield Developmen­t Centre and are just £4 per class per person. New members always welcome. Junior Club for P5-P7’s every Thursday from 5.50-7.30 pm in the Partnershi­p Centre. There’s lots of great activities including sports coaches doing inputs, healthy cooking and arts and crafts and it’s only 50p per week. Why not drop in and try it out for yourself. Charity Shop at Fauldhouse Indoor Market 1 Blackfauld­s Place. A selection of clothes, shoes, toys books etc free of charge to children in need. It should be noted and respected that the shop is not designed for folk to just wander in and uplift items just to fill their children’s wardrobe but rather it’s to help families who are genuinely struggling and find it extremely difficult to provide basic needs such as clothing and shoes. Any family in such circumstan­ce is welcome to drop into the shop at anytime. Opening hours Mon-Fri 10-3pm.
