Yvonne Green 01506 440881 / 07504551881 yvonnegreen55@gmail.com CHRISTIAN AID WEEK runs from 13th -20th May 2018. Please note that this year there WILL NOT be a house to house collection by Kirk of Calder. Instead, everyone is invited to come into Kirk of Calder during that week to see a display of the work being done by Christian Aid to support the poorest in the developing world. Should you wish to make a donation, you can do so when you visit, or, take an envelope and return it later in the week. In addition to the Sunday service that week the Church will be open Monday to Friday mornings from 10 till 12 noon and Monday to Thursday evenings from 6.30 till 7.30. Youth groups are also being encouraged to visit the Church to find out about the work of Christian Aid. There will also be a concert for Christian Aid in the Church on Friday 18th May at 7.30pm featuring singers Ibiyemi Osinaike and Megan Black. Tickets costing £5 are available now from the Church. Bottle Bank Competition Recycle your glass during the “Mid Calder Children’s Gala Day” and raise money for next year’s event!
