It’s so fan-tastic

-

Livingston fans were certainly in party mood on Sunday after celebrating their team’s unlikely promotion to the SPFL Premiership.

Club photographer Rae Irvine was in Glasgow to capture the best pictures, while some of our readers have sent in their own snaps from the big day.

The Courier’s resident Livingston blogger Andrew Semple said:“I can’t quite believe it. I’m still trying to let it sink in.

“What a year it’s been, genuinely one of the best ever following the football club.

“It has been an emotional rollercoaster being a Livi fan over the years but this is one of the proudest moments in our history. See you all in the Premiership.”

Calum Brown said:“What an incredible season. To just get to the play-offs after only coming up last year was unthinkable.

“But we didn’t just do that – we actually went up.

“Avoiding relegation was the aim and my wee beautiful club are now in the Premiership.

“David Hopkin deserves a knighthood. The players are all heroes too, what a group of boys.“

Fellow Livi fan Chris McKenna said:“I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed watching my team more than this season, especially the play-offs.

“The players play with a passion that has to be admired.”
