There will be a car boot section this year and a space can be booked at the cost of £5 (unfortunat­ely the school cannot supply tables). Local businesses are welcome also. Bra Bank Liz Howley continues to collect Bras for Charity and, ultimately, Third World Countries, where they will be put to good use. Please hand them in to Forestbank Community Education Centre, Forestbank, Ladywell, Livingston. Thank you for your continued support. It is always amazing that these Bras just keep on coming. Also, Liz will take donations of new “Ladies/Children’s Pants” which she will hand on to the charity “Smalls for All.” All sizes from Children’s aged 2 years upwards to any size Ladies Pants. Once again, these items will be passed on to very deserving causes in Africa where, having a pair of pants to wear can mean the world of difference to these women and girls. Salvation Army Hall Community Cafe at The Salvation Army in Howden is back! Come along on Tuesdays 11-2 (school term only). Enjoy fresh food at great prices.

Café Connect Extra is for people who have dementia and their carers to meet and give each other support. The café runs on the first Wednesday of the month from 2.00pm to 3.30pm at Dedridge Baptist Church, Quentin Rise, Dedridge EH52 5LH. Everyone is welcome to come along.
