The judging of both Household and Commercial premises will take place tomorrow night (Friday) by representatives from Shotts Galaday Committee. Fancy dress contestants should meet on the morning of the Galaday (Sat) at the Partnership Centre for 11.00 am. Decorated vehicles will be judged at the village green triangle at 11.30am. The crowning ceremony takes place at the Partnership Centre at 12 noon and the street procession will begin immediately thereafter. Gala races and children’s entertainment will be held at Fauldhouse United F.C. Park and will begin at 3pm. The fairground (shows) will return to their usual site at the top Park behind the Partnership Centre. Galaday bags will be available for collection and sale at the Hub on Main Street from 10am - noon and then from 2pm - 4.30 pm at Fauldhouse United F.C. Park Parents are requested to encourage all children to walk in the procession and to participate in the gala sports.
Fauldhouse O.A.P. Monday Club meet in the Miners Welfare every Monday from 1-3 pm. Activities include guest speakers, entertainment and bingo etc. Plans are underway for trips to Perth, Ayr, Blackpool and a theatre night in Edinburgh. President Christine Cook invites all over 50’s in the community to come along and join the club. Fauldhouse United F. C. Player of the Year Award will be held in the Masonic Hall on Friday 6 July at 7pm. Buffet, disco and late bar. Tickets priced £10 are on sale form any committee member.
Art Class every Monday from 2-4 pm in the Hub on Main Street. The class has a mixed level of skills and experience and new members always welcome. Summer School Holiday Football Coaching Roadshow for boys and girls aged 3-15 years. West Lothian Youth Foundation supported by other partners are holding a half day camp from 10- noon from Mon 23 July - Friday 27 July at the Partnership Centres 3 G Pitch.
