Cricket club Why not pop along to the Livingston Cricket Club on Friday August 17th at 7pm for a fantastic evening with the world’s favorite wizard! We’ll be watching a Harry Potter movie, enjoying a butterbeer or two, having a fancy dress competitio­n for adults and kids, plus a great family quiz too! More info to follow but save the date.... Livingston Cricket Club will be holding their annual Gala Day on 1st September this year and are looking for any entreprene­urs out there who would like a stall? Stalls will cost £10 for the day. Please contact the club if you would like to book. Bellsquarr­y Brownies meet on Wednesdays from 6.30pm -8pm in the primary school and currently have spaces for girls ages 7-10. Walking Football for all, every Wednesday morning, 10am -11am at Bankton Mains Sporting Facility; a great way to get more active whilst having fun. It’s free and you can relax afterwards with a cuppa and a biscuit. Would be great to see more ladies coming along. Bellsquarr­y Community Council Meetings are held in Bellsquarr­y Village hall on the first Monday of every second month starting at 7.30pm. Parents or carers of under 5s can register an interest also. Animal welfare experts are looking for a home for Leo, a cat who craves cuddles.

Brought to West Lothian Cats Protection through no fault of his own, Leo is happiest in human company and will happily snuggle up for hours.

This healthy 10 year old has been fully vet checked, vaccinated, neutered and microchipp­ed. All he needs now is a home to call his own with safe access to the outdoors.
