Sisters get the chop for cancer charity

West Lothian Courier - - News -

Two big-hearted sisters have had their long locks chopped off to help young people with cancer after their mum was diagnosed with the disease in 2012.

Lyndsay and Michelle Muirhead had their hair cut so they could donate it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for youngsters who have lost their hair through chemotherapy.

The girls each had several inches cut from their hair at Bathgate salon Nouveau Hairdressing by family friend Katie Millar.

Their mum Fiona said:“They know that losing your hair can be devastating and they hope the wigs will help ease the suffering of young girls going through this.”
