Pupils stage tale as old as time

West Lothian Courier - - News -

Balbardie Primary School was turned into a wonderland as primary six pupils took to the stage to perform Disney classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

With props from last year’s winning float and scenery made by the pupils, the scene was set for a fantastic performance by all the cast.

The pupils had rehearsed for six weeks and covered a variety of areas across the curriculum, even setting up a business and working out their profits.

And all their hard work definitely paid off.

The audience loved the show which was packed with singing, emotion and some great comic timing.

It was a lovely welcome to their new head teacher, Mrs Johns, who said:“It was super to see all the pupil’s excelling in their chosen roles and showing, commitment, resilience and self-confidence.

“The whole school are extremely proud of them.”
