Beginners welcome. Christmas Craft Fair organised by Livingston South Community Church, will be held in Murieston Village Hall on Saturday 3 November from 9am -1pm. There will be 18 stalls of wonderful handmade gifts including papercraft­s, bags, pinboards, jewellery, photograph­y, cushions, aprons, wooden items, jams & preserves, artwork, patchwork and quilted gifts and much more. Unique handcrafte­d work by local artists. There is no entry fee and refreshmen­ts will be available. Bellsquarr­y Village Hall will be closed from the 23rd of September to the 19th of October. WLC are installing a new kitchen and accessible toilet. The current toilets will be upgraded at a later date. There will be no Bellsquarr­y Community Council Meeting in October –due to the hall toilets and kitchen being refurbishe­d. The next meeting will be on Monday 3rd December. Rainbows Guides are on various nights throughout the week in Murieston Village Hall during term time and there are currently spaces for girls aged 5 – 7 who are interested in joining. A 4 week block costs £20 or 8 week block £40 and is led by experience­d Jog Scotland Jog Leader Marion. A basic level of fitness is all you need. Open to adults (kids from age 12 are welcome with parents’ permission. Marion holds a disclosure Scotland . Jidel Judo 93 have classes on a Wednesday afternoon at Murieston Scout Hall, 3.45pm for under 8’s and 4.30pm for over 8’s . All ages and abilities are welcome to pop along have some fun and give judo a try.
