On the day there will be a raffle, tombola, home-baking, Santa’s Grotto and a wide range of other stalls. All welcome, we look forward to seeing you there! (Entry is free) Scout Group Meetings of the 29th Scout Group’s Beaver Scout section have resumed after the summer break. We currently have spaces for both boys and girls aged between 6 and 8 years old. Meetings take place on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 pm to 7.30pm in Toronto Primary School and we offer a wide range of fun games, crafts, outings, friendship and a chance to learn and try new things. Messy Church Bra Bank Liz Howley continues to collect Bras for Charity and, ultimately, Third World Countries, where they will be put to good use. Please hand them in to Forestbank Community Education Centre, Forestbank, Ladywell, Livingston. Thank you for your continued support. It is always amazing that these Bras just keep on coming. Also, Liz will take donations of new “Ladies/Children’s Pants” which she will hand on to the charity “Smalls for All.” All sizes from Children’s aged 2 years upwards to any size Ladies Pants. Once again, these items will be passed on to very deserving causes in Africa where, having a pair of pants to wear can mean the world of difference to these women and girls. Messy Church Monthly “Messy Church” Service on first Sunday of the month from 4 – 6 at Mosswood Community Centre, Knightsridge. Craft, food and worship activity for all the family, and for all ages. Charity Shop Braid House Day Centre, Labrador Avenue, Howden, Livingston EH54 6BU has opened a ‘Little Charity Shop’ within the Day Centre. This sells all sorts of bric-abrac.
