Lottery windfall for kids

Ladywell Playgroup is one of five West Lothian organisations celebrating a share of £34,000 from the National Lottery.

The playgroup was awarded £6250 while Fast Forward (Positive Lifestyles) Limited, Fun Little Education, Next Step Foundation and Mentor UK in partnership with Livingston FC were awarded £34,166 between them.

The organisations shared the money through the latest round of funding from the National Lottery Awards For All Scotland.

Janie Marshall, group leader at Ladywell Playgroup, said: “We’re over the moon. It will make a huge difference.”
