Man killed on A801 is named

A man who died in a road traffic collision in West Lothian last weekend has been named as Gary Sinclair.

Gary, who was 50 and from Livingston, died following the collision on the A801 between the Boghead and Heatherfie­ld roundabout­s involving a Scania lorry and a black Citroën DS3 car at around 7.30pm on the Sunday evening of October 28.

Gary’s family would like to thank everyone who came to his aid and responded to the crash, both members of the public and the emergency services, and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.

The road at the scene was closed for some time following the accident and a full crash scene investigat­ion was carried out.
